One of my employees has settled on an XV Crosstrek for his next whip, and got some love for his choice from Seinfeld himself on yesterdays AMA. Guess the guy has something for horizontally opposed engines or something. He is picking it up today

I have seen more XV's up here in Canada than any other Subaru nameplate. We love that AWD/ground clearance.

I learned that the XV Crosstrek manual states that it's normal to see 1qt of oil consumption every 1200 miles. What a pig.

My dad manages to get a 1qt of consumption every 4000 miles, and that's supposedly really good.

I am seeing a lot of them on the road, and I like it. I want one, in that orange color. Maybe add a 1" lift, space the wheels out a bit, some larger more aggressive tires... mmhmm.

I was under one and they look no different than any other Subaru. Crossmember and strut spacers should do the trick. Or Forester struts. Or just bigger tires.
